Temporary reduction of the “TERMINAL SECURITY CHARGE” port dues tariff by 50.48%

As a measure to mitigate the negative effects of the COVID 19 pandemic on maritime transport, the Port of Rijeka Authority reduced the port dues tariff regarding “TERMINAL SECURITY CHARGE” by 50.48% for the period between May 1 and September 30, 2020. This incentive measure is in line with the proposals of the representatives of container shipping companies and the Association of Maritime Agents of Croatia, in the effort to mitigate the negative effects on maritime traffic in the Rijeka port system and to support the competitiveness of the Rijeka traffic route in the new conditions.

According to the Decision on amendments which was adopted by the Governing Council of the Port of Rijeka Authority at its 153rd session, held in April 29, 2020, the port dues tariff TERMINAL SECURITY CHARGE is reduced by 50.48% for the period between May 1 to September 30, 2020.
