Adaptation of Adamic pier
For many years, the access to the edge of the Adamic pier was blocked for citizens because of the clubbing vessel Nina and the cars parked on the pier. After Nina vessel was removed in May 2019, the Port of Rijeka Authority launched an investment to renovate the Adamic Pier. The total cost of the landscaping, including the construction of the anchor system for thirteen berths for ships up to 18 meters, is worth 692,052.00 + VAT. The investment is financed by the funds of the Port of Rijeka Authority and includes the preparation of project documentation, installation of angels in the shore, anchor blocks, chains and shackles for the anchor system, diving works, installation of cabinets for supplying boats with electricity and water, plumbing works, and works for the separation of the coastal edge from the parking lot and setting up a guardrail and stone flower vases. The installed equipment has a mounting character and does not constitute a solid permanent object. This investment is part of a broader project for renovation of The passenger port, which, among other things, envisages the relocation of the current parking lot to another, more appropriate location. The main objective of the project is to free this large port area from parked cars and to ensure the complete approaching of the city center of Rijeka to the sea.
