The superyacht Aviva, the largest yacht manufactured by Abeking & Rasmussen built in 2017, sailed into the passenger port in Rijeka last night in the evening. already a year after construction, it won the esteemed International Design and Innovation Award – 2018 BOAT International Design & Innovation Award. The 98-meter-long yacht was designed by Reymond Langton and is powered by a hybrid propulsion system whose MTU engines develop a top speed of up to 20 knots. The ideal speed of 11 knots is achieved by electric drive. The owner and investor is Joe Lewis, one of the owners of the Tottenham Hotspur football club, who uses the yacht as an office, but also as a living space. Therefore, among its contents, the superyacht “Aviva” has sports facilities. Worth £ 113 million, the yacht offers luxury accommodation for up to 16 guests and as many as 25 crew members. Indoors, there is a tennis court 20 meters long and 10 meters wide with a ceiling 6.65 meters high and in addition to the indoor tennis court, it also has a swimming pool that opens onto the sea.
The yacht was successfully moored at the passenger port in Rijeka with a planned stay of two days. Previous sailing ports on the Adriatic tour included the ports of Dubrovnik, Primosten and Zadar.
