Award for the Best Brochure 2018.
The Port Authority of Rijeka won the 4th Festival of Tourism and Strategy in the category of best printed media.
In the period from 8 to 10 November 2018, the fourth edition of the European Festival of Tourism and Strategy and Conference “Circular Tours and Cities – Challenges and Opportunities” was held in Dubrovnik, organized by the City of Dubrovnik and the French Friends of Rueil-Malmaison. Challenges in cruise tourism were discussed by representatives of Mediterranean tourist destinations and ports, international cruise tourism associations, cruise companies and scientists. During the three-day conference, the challenges and opportunities faced by cities were faced with regard to international cruise ship travel.
Cindy D’Aoust, the president of the CLIA organization (Cruise Lines International Association), Airam Díaz Pastor, President of the Mediterranean Cruise Ports, Alberto Cappato, Secretary of the AIVP Association (The Worldwide Network of Port Cities ) is also the director of Luke Genova and Chris Windsor-Price (Marella Cruises Marine Operations Manager). the discussion focused on best practice examples such as Bruges, Barcelona, Vukovar, Kotor and Dubrovnik, and the first results of the TOMAS survey of attitudes and consumption of visitors from the international navy cruises in Dubrovnik for 2018 were presented.
Along with the conference section, the European Festival’s ‘Tourism and Strategy’ awards were awarded to the best promotional tourist campaigns in three categories: Marketing campaign in its entirety, Printed media, Video material. The best video award was given to the Port Authority of Split, the best brochure to the Port of Rijeka Authority, while the Adriatic DMC travel agency received the award for the best marketing campaign.
