Release of the first TalkNET Newsletter

In January 2019, the first volume of newsletter TalkNET was published to disseminate  project activities that had started since the kick-off meeting in Venice, Italy in July 2017 until January 2019.The newsletter offers detailed information on numerous events and presentation regarding Danube and Alpine region, interviews with the thematic coordinators of the ZAILOG Quadrante Europa Freight Village and Codognotto Poland, whose representatives spoke more specifically about the challenges of work packages and analysis of studies that would allow further development related to 10 studies on the connecting the last miles of multimodal nodes, 8 studies on the efficiency and optimization of multimodal terminals, 15 studies on the assessment of market opportunities for strengthening or activating new multimodal services, 5 studies on the implementation of alternative fuels and 10 studies on energy efficiency solutions.

The newsletter also described the meeting of all project partners in Szeczyn at the 3rd Steering Committee. In addition to managing projects and financial issues, it also discussed planning of events such as Transport Logistic Munich 2019,  with the related organization opportunities and co-operation activities such as B2B meetings aimed at fostering co-operation among the various key stakeholders in freight.
