Business meeting of Hungarian companies at the Port of Rijeka Authority

Strengthening economic cooperation in the Port of Rijeka area
On March 27, 2025, the Port of Rijeka Authority hosted a business meeting for Hungarian companies interested in economic cooperation in the Port of Rijeka area. The event was organized in cooperation with the companies Luka Rijeka d.d., Adriatic Gate Container Terminal d.d./ICTSI and the Association of Hungarian Freight Forwarders and brought together 55 participants from the logistics and freight forwarding sector. Through this business meeting, the participants had the opportunity to get a detailed insight into the development and potential of the Port of Rijeka, which is positioning itself as a key point on the European transport corridors. As part of the event, presentations were also held by Ms. Tija Perinčić from the Historical Museum of the City of Rijeka and Mr. Marko Mišković from the Port of Rijeka d.d., who presented the rich history and development of this economic area. In addition, the participants had the opportunity to participate in a professional tour of the terminals in the port basins of Rijeka and Sušak, where they were informed about the progress, investments, and plans for the future development of container terminals. All possibilities of economic cooperation, the importance of the port in regional and international traffic and the role in the further development of the economy were presented.
