Chinese delegation Liaoning visits port of Rijeka

A delegation of the Chinese Liaoning Province visited the County of Primorje-Gorski kotar at the headquarters of the County of Primorje-Gorski kotar. Mayor Zlatko Komadina and their associates received a delegation from China’s Liaoning Province, led by Deputy Governor Chen Xiangqun. Friendly relations with the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County the Liaoning Province has been nurturing since 2002 when a joint Cooperation Agreement was signed in Beijing.

The reception also discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation, with Chinese representatives highlighting the areas of education and tourism as particularly interesting, with a focus on health tourism and infrastructure.

As part of their stay in Rijeka, a delegation from the Liaoning Province visited Zagreb’s Deep Sea Container Terminal, accompanied by representatives of the Port of Rijeka Authority  and the Development Agency of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, in which the Agency’s director Vedran Kružić briefed them on current and planned development projects of the region.
