Rijeka Boat Show 2023
The Rijeka Boat Show was held at the Karolina Riječka Quay from October, 5th to 8th, 2023.
The Rijeka Boat Show is the successor of the popular Nautica Show established in 1984. This year, the show received an additional financial and logistical support by the City of Rijeka. Dario Dobrilović, Head of the Department for Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the City of Rijeka, explained the relevance of this event for the city. “In its strategic documents, the City has defined nautical tourism as one of the backbones of the development of this sector. In this sense, it is important for us not only to invest in nautical infrastructure – such as the announcement of the construction of the Porto Baroš marina, but also to invest in events within the nautical domain. All this will attract interested visitors, tourists and enthusiasts to our city.”
On the occasion of the official opening of this year’s events, captain Rajko Jurman, the Head of the Commercial Affairs Department of the Port of Rijeka Authority, Marko Mikašinović, the Head of Product Development of the Rijeka Tourist Board addressed the audience and press with a few statements. Josip Ostrogović, a member of the Investment, Marketing and Retail Management Board of ACI d.d., and the organizer and director of the fair Ivan Črnjarića welcomed the audience and visitors. The head of the Administrative Department for Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Izabela Linčić Mužić and the head of the Department for Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism in the Administrative Department for Economy, Development, Ecology and European Projects of the City of Rijeka Dario Dobrilović expressed their support for the fair. Also, the President of the Management Board of ACI-GITONE d.o.o., Anđelko Petrinić, gave a presentation on the construction of the future ACI Marina Rijeka.
According to the announcement, as many as 6 vessels had their Croatian premieres, and were presented in Croatia for the first time. These are vessels from Norway, Italy and even the USA. The doors of the fair were opened for visitors on Thursday, October 5 at the official opening. The offer of vessels and nautical equipment is more diverse than ever, and special emphasis is placed on the vessels of Croatian small shipbuilding. Thus, among other things, visitors can expect as many as six Croatian premiers, so boating enthusiasts will be able to view the latest models of top-class vessels, which are TIGE Z5 and ATX S20 (Action Yachts d.o.o.), SKILSO PANORAMA 35 (Aduros), NORTHMASTER 585 OPEN (Aestate) Serenum d.o.o.), EOLO 64 EL Open and EOLO 64 EL Day (Apolon Group d.o.o.). It is expected that this will be the most successful edition of the fair so far. According to all announcements, more than 10,000 visitors should walk along the Karolina Rijeka Quay during the four days of the nautical fair.
